2017 Spring Hair Trends

Spring 2017 is fast approaching so we decided to give you five hairstyles that will be on trend this Spring!

Balayage: Balayage is a French hair dying technique that has found international fame. Instead of the hairstylist using foil or a cap they paint the color on the hair by hand resulting in a more natural looking highlight. The maintenance is fairly low since the color is more blended than standard highlights. The Balayage trend has taken Hollywood by storm with more celebrities wearing the look on red carpets.

Super Sleek: Super sleek long hair will also be popular this Spring! Long straight hair parted down the side or center has made a comeback. You can add hair extensions or rock a wig to achieve this look. You can wear this hairstyle with a shorter mane but the longer length seems to be the favorite on this hairstyle. Get super sleek and channel your inner Cher or Naomi Campbell!

Sleek & Shining: The Sleek & Shining look also known as the 'wet look' was popular in 2016 and has transitioned into Spring 2017 as well. This super sexy hairstyle can be achieved by applying tons of hair gel, wax, cream or whatever hair product you use to sleek your hair down. Then braid or twist the hair with your fingers. If you braid the hair leave them in for 20-30 minutes before taking them loose. After that your hair should be sleek, shining, and wavy. You can also apply the sleek & shining look to straight hair by sleeking the hair back out of your face or up into a bun.

High Ponytail: High ponytails will be a big hair trend this Spring. It's one of our favorite hairstyles to wear because it's simple and easy to do and can be worn to a casual or formal event. The hairstyle takes the typical ponytail up a notch by setting the ponytail at the top of your crown. If your hair is not long enough you can add length with hair extensions or clip ins that match your hair's texture. You can also buy a hair extension ponytail.

Bangs: Bangs are coming back in a big way this Spring. Longer bangs that cover your forehead is the most popular style. If your not willing to cut your hair you can also look into hairstyles that have faux bangs like buns and top knots. You can also purchase hair extension or clip ons and use them as bangs. This is a quick and easy way to give your Spring hair a little bang!
