It has two combs on the sides and one in the middle to lock the ponytail around your hair. It also has a straight piece of hair on the side to wrap around your hair and the ponytail to secure it in place. The 42" ponytail comes is a few colors. We reviewed the ponytail in the color 1B. The ponytail is easy to install and is really braided well.
